Parasites - The Unwanted Guests!
Odds are good that YOU - Yes YOU and your loved ones have them. "No not me!" you say. "I haven't travelled to a third world country...I don't have any pets... I don't eat meat... I am very careful!" Unfortunately, none of these factors really matter that much. They may affect the amount and variety of critters, but most of us have them and don't even know it! They come through our food - a snail crosses over a leaf of the lettuce in your fresh salad, the meat was a bit ... eating at restaurants (lots of opportunities there), our beloved pets, and various social activities. There is a great deal of evidence linking the presence of Parasites to the development of Cancers. For my patients, I believe that it is rational, prudent, and cost effective to complete regular parasite cleanses in order to maintain good physical health.
Please take a look at the partial list of symptoms below, and see if any apply to you.

There are many parasite cleanses on the market, and it is important to find the one that works best for you individually. I do this with my patients primarily through muscle testing, but also occasionally retrospectively through conventional labs. Since parasites can complete their whole lifecycle in our bodies nowadays (due to toxic livers, in particular isopropyl alcohol), an ova and parasite stool analysis typically shows nothing. However, during cleanses when I have patients do this test, they consistently test positive.
In general it is important that a parasite cleanse include herbs such as black walnut, wormwood and clove, as each of these kills parasites in different stages of development. There are many other helpful plant medicines that kill parasites as well and are often contained within cleanses such as garlic, pau d’arco, quassia and berberis. The wonderful thing about herbs is that they kill hundreds of different kinds of parasites while generally not being highly toxic to humans. Pharmaceutical parasite remedies on the other hand are often highly toxic to humans and generally only kill a few kinds of parasites at a time. Please note * I want to be very clear here, that I am by NO means prescribing any of these to you in this article, as they are medicine and are not to be toyed with. It is important that you consult a knowledgeable health care professional in order to determine if any herbs or particular treatment is right for you before proceeding. Specific herbs, appropriate combinations, dosages, duration, drug interactions etc. all must be determined on an individual basis.
When patients do a cleanse I often suggest that the whole family (including your pets) consider doing a cleanse together so that you do not re-infect each other. It is also a good idea to do a cleanse 2 times per year - Spring and Autumn for maintenance.
If you are having any of the above symptoms, please consider making an appointment so that together we may determine the right cleanse for you, while taking your overall state of health into consideration.
